The physician dispensing fee is a charge that covers the professional services required to ensure the accuracy and quality of your prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses. It includes services such as prescription verification, quality assurance, and customer support. This physician dispensing fee is charged once per transaction and includes all the contacts and glasses in your cart.

There is a limit of 12 items per cart at insider pricing. If you would like to purchase more items, we suggest that you check out in a separate shopping cart after completing your first transaction.

You can get the discounted member price on up to 12 items per shopping cart. If you would like to purchase more than 12 items at the discounted price in a single transaction, you will need to complete an additional checkout with the additional items in another shopping cart.

No, there is no limit to the number of discounted carts you can checkout. You can complete as many checkouts with 12 discounted items per cart as needed to purchase all the eyewear you want at the special member price. Again though, the discounted pricing only applies up to 12 items per cart.

As per our shipping policy, we aim to ship out orders within 5-10 business days. This is contingent on SpecsX receiving your complete and correct Rx. You will be emailed a Tracking # once your order is ready to be shipped.

Please note that if you placed your order after 5 pm EST, on the weekend or on a holiday, your order will be processed the next business day.

CANADIAN DELIVERY GUIDELINES

Contact lenses typically arrive within 7 days of order placement but can take up to 10 days depending on where in Canada they are being delivered to.

Eyewear with plano (no Rx), single vision, progressive, or gradient lenses can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on the level of customization.

Note that delays can occur from time to time due to weather and other logistical factors outside of our control.

The physician dispensing fee is a one-time charge per transaction, regardless of the number of eyewear items in your cart. This means whether you're purchasing a single pair of prescription eyeglasses or multiple items.

The physician dispensing fee is non-refundable once the order has been processed. However, if you encounter any issues with your eyewear or have concerns about the services provided, please contact our customer support team at hello@specsx.com, and we will be happy to assist you.

Since we do not mark-up our products, we do not offer refunds or warranties on any eyeglasses purchased through SpecsX. We issue refunds on contact lenses up to 30 days after purchase, if contact lens box(es) have not been opened. Refunds are issued 30 days after unused / unopened products are received at our warehouse.

Single vision prescriptions are the most common among people who need vision correction. It means the lenses are correcting for one field of vision, whether nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism. The entire lens contains the same amount of vision correction.

Progressive prescriptions call for multifocal lenses that correct for nearsightedness, farsightedness and everything in between. Compared to lined bifocal lenses which requires much adjustment from your eyes to see clearly, progressive lenses’ seamless transition from distance correction on top to reading correction on bottom provide much sharper overall vision.

Simply stated, pupillary distance (PD) is the measurement of the distance between your two pupils, and it helps make sure your eyeglasses will fit and align correctly with the center of your eyes. This alignment and how the glasses are positioned on your face is important when comparing the function of glasses used for seeing things that are far away versus seeing things that are close to you.

Eyeglasses that are not fitted with the correct PD measurement can lead to concerns such as:

• eye strain
• headaches
• distorted vision
• blurred vision
• difficulty wearing your glasses
